 information: GRANNY THOUGHTS

Informationgranny writes "WENT TO SEE OUR TROOPS OFF TODAY,AND MY HEART WAS HEAVY AND I WAS CLOSE TO TEARS,BECAUSE I KNEW THAT  FOR SOME OF THEM IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME ON AMERICAN SOIL. I WAVED AND THREW KISSES AND THEY WAVED BACK,AND I THOUGHT GOSH,THEY LOOKED SO YOUNG TO BE SO BRAVE AND I WANTED TO GIVE THEM ALL A GRANNY HUG. I BROUGHT MY 3 YEAR OLD GRANDSON AND HIS MOM ,AND HE WAVED AND SAID BY BY .I HOPE HE NEVER HAS TO RIDE A BUS TOWARD DEATH FOR THIS COUNTRY. I LOOKED AROUND AND MY HEART HURT EVEN MORE BECAUSE THE STREET  WAS ALMOST EMPTY,AS IF NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE . WHERE ARE "WE THE PEOPLE"WHEN WE NEED THEM? SEEMS LIKE I ASK THAT A LOT LATELY. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS AND GOD SAVE OUR COUNTRY.   GRANNY"

 Federal Government: The D.R.E.A.M. Act

Articles about our GovernmentAnonymous writes "The Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors Act (The "DREAM Act") is a piece of proposed federal legislation that was introduced in the US senate, and the US house of representatives in March 26, 2009.

This is a bill that will most certainly provide a path for more illegal aliens to obtain citizenship to the U.S.  In the bill it provides provisions to allow Illegal Aliens to continue to go to school even though they should not be here to begin with and then obtain citizenship, this will also allow more people to become anchors, forcing the government to allow the Illegal Families to stay as well.

Please contact your Representatives and Senators to let them know you oppose this Bill.

Federal Government: Obama administration fails to enforce immigration law

Articles about our GovernmentAnonymous writes "By Nick Weyland

What if the federal government refused to enforce worksite enforcement claiming the immigration laws are broken? But that is impossible you say after Congress' Coalition for Immigration Reform was defeated, when amnesty was rejected by the people in 2007 and we now have an economic crisis. Well, think again.

Recently worksite enforcement in Bellingham, Wash., yielded the arrests of 28 employees illegally in the United States but Janet Napolitano, new secretary for Homeland Security, is reviewing the action. The Obama administration is allegedly signaling it wants a shift in immigration policy that would rely less on worksite enforcement and more on employers who hire "illegal immigrants" and overall immigration reform.

Immigration: Illegals targeted sheriff as gang initiation

Articles dealing with ImmigrationAnonymous writes "By Jerry Seper
The Washington Times, February 26, 2009

The attempted assassination of a South Carolina deputy sheriff was a gang
initiation carried out by three illegal immigrants including a 15-year-old boy
who was supposed to 'kill a cop' in order to be admitted as a member,
according to a confidential Department of Homeland Security advisory.

Lexington County, S.C., Deputy Sheriff Ted Xanthakis and his K-9 police dog,
Arcos, were attacked by the three illegals armed with a 12-gauge shotgun during
a Feb. 8 incident in West Columbia, S.C., shortly after 3 a.m. The deputy and
his dog survived.
